A very handsome bakelite case provides convenient, all-in-one-place storage for View-Master single reels and a Model E viewer. The green Reel Library Box was a late production box, made with dividers which accommodate a model E viewer, rather than the Cream and Maroon Reel Library Boxes which were made for the model C viewers.

The Library Box can hold about 100 reels in their paper sleeves.

In the mid 1950s, the Library Box was internally redesigned (dividers) to accommodate the new viewer, the Model E, and the color was changed to this metallic green. Although the Green Library Box is second most common, next to the Cream/Maroon, the Green Box is much less common than the Cream/Maroon and therefore always commands a higher price and value.
